2009 Subscription Options
About the CSA and Farm StandOur vegetables, fruits and herbs are grown by hand without any pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilizers. 2009 is our fourth season farming the land and we are excited to offer full CSA (community supported agriculture) shares. A CSA is a partnership of consumers and farmers. The shareholders provide a guaranteed market and income. The farmers provide weekly shares of freshly harvested produce. Both partners share in the risks and rewards of small-scale farming. The CSA stand is open for pickup on the following days; Wednesdays 4-7 and Sundays 1-4 CSA Shares for 2009Full Farm Share $400-$500* Feeds three to four people Half Farm Share $200-$250* Feeds one to two people *CSA share prices are sliding scale- please pay the maximum amount you are able. What you will receive as a CSA member20 weeks of fresh, local vegetables and herbs Bi-weekly farm update and recipes Discounted farm workshops such as herbal medicine making and food preservation techniques Optional delivery by bicycle to your door for $50 extra A role in pioneering a food system not based upon fossil fuel |
